Golden Hands Bulgaria Project

Golden Hands Bulgaria is an ongoing short documentary series dedicated to the artisans, craftspeople, and cultural guardians of Bulgaria. Through intimate portraits and cinematic storytelling, the films preserve traditional knowledge, celebrate the artistry of handmade work, and honour the communities who keep these practices alive.

Since 2023, Viktoria has filmed over 40 stories across Bulgaria, each one highlighting a unique craft - from weaving, pottery, and woodcarving to icon painting and embroidery. The series is both a cultural archive and a love letter to Bulgaria’s living heritage.
